Many workers look forward to heading to an office every day and closely collaborating with peers on important projects. But others prefer a more solitary approach to work — and life.

Introverts tend to do their best work when left alone. Recently, the website ResumeGenius identified high-paying jobs suitable for introverts.

In compiling its list, ResumeGenius looked at federal data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and O*NET and focused on jobs that pay well and are characterized by four traits that introverts prize:

  • Autonomy
  • Creative thinking
  • Deep engagement
  • Meaningful interactions

Here are the top high-paying jobs for introverted people, according to ResumeGenius.
