Although you may be tempted to take a break from your job search during the summer months, there are numerous advantages to continuing your search.

For one, many jobseekers put their job search on hold because they mistakenly believe that companies are not hiring during the summer. As a result, there’s less competition from other jobseekers, so those who continue their search have a better chance of standing out to employers.

In addition, many businesses ramp up hiring during the summer to prepare for the busy fall season. So, if you’re looking for a new job, don’t let the summer slow you down. There are plenty of opportunities to be had, and despite concerns about return-to-office mandates, the demand for remote work remains steady.

To help you get started in your summer job search, we’ve analyzed more than 60,000 companies in our database to identify the top companies that posted the highest number of remote jobs between January 1, 2024, and May 31, 2024.

Additionally, we’re covering the top career categories and job titles with the highest number of remote job postings in the first half of 2024.

According to FlexJobs Career Expert Keith Spencer, “FlexJobs’ 2024 report is an excellent indication that even in a changing job landscape, remote work isn’t going away. These forward-thinking employers are a testament to the importance of flexibility in the future of work, and we hope the list helps jobseekers better identify and connect to the many remote career options available.”

Getting organized is the first step to keeping your job search momentum going.

Create a system for tracking the positions you’ve applied for, the companies you’ve reached out to, and the networking contacts you’ve made. This will help you keep track of your progress and avoid duplicating your efforts.

2. Set Job Search Goals
