NORTHBROOK, Ill., June 19, 2024âTo inspire commerce, generate jobs, and reward positive social impact in Chicago, Allstate announces recipients of its inaugural Main Street Grants program in partnership with community councils across Chicagoâs South and West sides.
The funds equip small businesses, entrepreneurs, and community organizations to better fuel innovative, sustainable projects which positively impact their individual communities around Chicago. To foster deeper community partnerships, Allstate proudly collaborated with Community Development Councils:
In total, Allstate awarded $1.6M in grants to support these small and medium-sized organizations, ensuring the economic benefits reach Chicagoans who need them most. Additionally, the program addresses the wealth gap by empowering businesses owned by individuals from these neighborhoods.
