Delta Airlines Is Using a Porsche GT3 RS To Help You Make That Tight Connection

Imagine stepping into a world where the ordinary airport transfers turns into an exhilarating experience. This is the situation Delta Airlines and Porsche has created. It’s not just an airport transfer. It’s an experience to write home about and post on social media.

Access to this elite service remains a secret, but I’m pretty sure you’ll have to be a Delta 360 or Diamond Elite flyer to qualify. And you’ll also need to be flying alone and have nothing larger than a small carry on because the transfer is done by a Porsche GT3 RS!

Until the February 26, a lucky flier with the right status can get between gates in the 518 hp track monster. A Delta agent will meet you on the jetway, then you’ll blast across the tarmac to pull up next to the appropriate plane. If you’re nice, and maybe tip enough, the driver may demo the Porsche’s zero to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds for you.

In a twist of fate, you will find yourself wishing for tight connections, a sentiment previously unthinkable. For those jet-setting through LAX with Delta, may luck be your co-pilot. Remember, the journey can be as thrilling as the destination.
